Castle Hotel Macroom
"Beautiful room, very pretty hotel, decent food. However the loudest hotel I have ever stayed in and we travel a lot. Doors slamming around the clock, too close to main road. In hotels defense there was a car rally going on the 2 days we stayed. Avoid this area the first weekend of may if possible. ..."

"Eileen was a great hostess! She met us at the bottom of the hill as our GPS was malfunctioning and we couldn’t find her. She had a notebook full of things to do and places to eat while in the area. The house is beautiful and was perfect for what we needed. It has a huge back yard with wild rabbits ..."

"Very friendly welcome and welcome pack. Rural location, so quiet and restorative. Characterful converted barn with nice wood burning stove if necessary. Good location for exploring from Bantry (west) to Cobh (east) but be prepared for a fair amount of driving on country roads."
