Clinton-Sampson Chamber of Commerce Tours and Activities

We needed a quick overnight stay due to a power outage at our place. The rooms looked recently updated, and the beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was ok - I wish it were better. The AC was cool, but the room was so humid, likely because the door wasn't sealed properly. You could see the outside light shining through the visible gap in the door. Other than that, it was a decent stay, though I don't know if I would stay much longer because of the neighborhood. When we arrived, there was someone in their car smoking (not tobacco) with their car door open. This was right in front of our door, so our room reeked of MJ. I was there (single mom) with our dogs and my 12-year-old son. Also, when I walked the dogs outside at the designated dog area, a guy was walking his dog behind the dumpster, saying, "Wait a minute, wait a minute" to me. I got the impression that his dog was not dog-friendly and might attack. We were clear across the parking lot, so I think he shouldn't have that dog in a public place if he can't control it. And the dog area was right next to some trees, and this was clearly a place for people to dump their trash. Ok for one night, but I wouldn't stay much longer The staff were great.

would have liked the room cleaned everyday and the pool opened
