When you walk into a $100.00 plus room and find ear plugs as part of the bath amenities, you know you are in trouble. We were on the second floor (of 3 floors) and could not sleep all night, highway outside our window, hearing the people above us at all different times during the night due to noise transfer, and then there was the heater going on and off all night long. Worst night sleep I have ever had in a hotel room. The Management was aware of these noise issues due to the fact the ear plugs were included in our room. The only one set of ear plugs placed in our room did not help or work. A room with such problems should be highly discounted, not worth the $100.00\. We were there for the Historic Clinton, Mo 5k run. We were so happy we were not running the 1/2 marathon due to the lack of sleep. We were never notified of the noise problem, even though management was aware of it. I hope you agree this is not acceptable under any circumstances. I had a flat tire on my car after arriving at the hotel around 10:15 pm.
