About Larkspur Lodge:
At 3700 square feet, plus 650 square feet of more fun in the heated game room garage, you will have over 4300 sq ft to spread out and enjoy. From the beautiful African mahogany floors to the updated light fixtures, to the solid wood beams throughout the home, fine craftsmanship is apparent. On almost 1/2 an acre with a vacant lot on one side, you'll have privacy and gorgeous views of Rope Rider Golf Course.
Main Floor:
Walk in to 18 foot vaulted ceilings and your eyes are drawn across the open concept living room right to the golf course views. Then, take a look around and get ready for your relaxing vacation to begin!
Great Room:
In the great room, check out the comfortable huge gray sectional sofa - it's over 12 feet by 12 feet long to fit the whole gang! More chairs by the fireplace add to the comfy seating - just flip the switch for your cozy fire to light up. Soon to be added will be a reclaimed wood wall that will go above the fireplace towering to the ceiling. Storage ottomans have blankets, in case you want to watch a TV, a movie or a game on the 65 inch flat screen.
Kitchen:
Move a few feet to the giant granite kitchen island (seats 6) and join the chef. The island is big enough for everyone to gather around (it always ends up happening!) for food and conversation. The high end stainless appliances add to the luxury in the home. The dining table with amazing golf course views easily seats 10. Choose a fine leather chair, or take a spot on the solid wood 80 inch bench. Spin around to the window, and you're in the perfect spot to spy on the deer and elk that so often visit. Everything you need is supplied to cook amazing meals. Please inquire for anything specific and we'll let you know. A walk-in pantry provides plenty of space for all the food items you bring to Larkspur Lodge.
Main Floor Primary Bedroom:
Possibly one of the largest bedrooms you have ever had the pleasure of sleeping in, get dibs first on this one! If you miss out, don't worry, as there are 2 other king beds, and even another en suite bedroom upstairs! The main floor primary suite has views of the golf course, access to the huge covered patio, a 52 inch TV and an enormous attached bathroom. The king bed shows off luxury bedding over a comfortable mattress for a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom has a long double vanity, a walk in closet, a large shower, deep soaking tub, heated floors and a private toilet room.
Main floor bedroom Two:
The other downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and is decorated in lovely blues.
Outdoor Covered Patio:
Outside the living area with more tremendous golf course views is a large covered patio with two-story ceilings. The solid beams are carried to the outside too, and there are outdoor ceiling fans and dimmable lights for daytime and evening fun. The flexible (and comfortable) seating offers eight big cushioned chairs to relax in, as well as two round dining tables with 4 chairs each. There are a couple more folding chairs inside to make seating for 10 for outdoor dining. The 4-burner natural gas BBQ outside will surely please the head barbequer! With the addition of the extended patio and the huge stone natural gas fire pit, you may never want to go back inside!
Game Room:
Last but not least on the main floor is the 650 square foot room o' fun! Forget the fluorescent lights, and check out the updated modern lighting fixtures. They provide plenty of light for pool, ping pong, and foosball (or you can dim them for ambiance)! The ceiling mounted 5000 watt heater keeps you toasty warm, even when it's snowing outside. Take a seat at the bar, or at any of the many stools in the game room. An additional fridge/freezer too!
Upstairs En Suite Bedroom:
Up the staircase, across the sky bridge, and over to the upstairs en suite bedroom wing, you'll find another large bedroom with a king bed, and a large TV also. The views from up here of the golf course are wonderful. Read a book on the luxurious settee. Attached is a bathroom with double vanity and shower.
Bunk Room:
Kids (or adults!) will be in heaven when they walk into this upstairs large bedroom! Beds include a bunk bed with trundle, two twin beds, and 2 comfy memory foam mattresses, sleeping 7. A large flat screen TV, sectional sofa, and beanbags finish off the room. Bright colors are fun for all!
5th Bedroom:
Still upstairs is yet another bedroom with a TV and king size bed (and golf course views!).
Location Amenities:
On the 5th hole of Rope Rider Golf Course, Larkspur Lodge is an easy 10-15 minute walk to Swiftwater Cellars along the paved walking/biking trails. Live music Fri and Sat nights in summer, and outdoor patios. The paved trails start at nearby Battista Park, about a 3 minute walk. The park includes a fun playground, grassy areas, basketball court, picnic tables, restrooms, and a horseshoe pit.
Other fun things to do/see in Suncadia would be the Lodge, Swiftwater Cellars (easy walk), fishing pond where you can also rent kayaks and canoes, ice skating rink (winter), tubing rope tow (winter), bike rentals, several restaurants, Dawson Park (large playground, tennis, pickleball, basketball - check-out play equipment).

This place was fantastic. Spacious, fully equipped, lots of games/indoor activities, and the location was superb. It was fantastic for our group of friends and young kids!
Family vacation. Wish we would have known that we could not use the pool or the gym at the lodge.
Everything else was beautiful and great. Quiet, lovely home, game room is spectacular and was in constant use.
Excellent floor plan for our families to be together
The home & location were very nice! We especially liked the large amount of comfortable seating in the main room, the large patio with plenty of chairs, and the proximity to the park. The bedrooms & bathrooms were clean, but we spent our first hour cleaning the kitchen counters, lots of small-size dirty hand prints on the windows & doors, and the dishwasher was broken. We ran to the store to pick up paper plates & plastic silverware for the weekend.
Larkspur Lodge is hands down the very best VRBO that we have stayed in, and we have been using VRBO since 2004! The house is sparkling clean and has all the amenities you could ever want. The beds are super comfortable, there is plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. The game room in the garage was a super hit with the entire family. The host, Debra, was amazing and she was readily available for all of our questions/needs. We all decided this was the best of the best and we will plan to rent Larkspur Lodge for another family get away!
We had our annual family reunion, staying at 2 homes. The hostess was very communicative and helpful. She was very clear about their "house rules" and we appreciated that. I only suggest that all of them be on the posting as I believe there were some things that we didn't know about until after we made the reservation. However, that did not taint our enjoyment of our vacation. It was big enough and had lots of activities for everyone to enjoy...even when the wildfire smoke was an issue! We thank the family for allowing us to enjoy their lovely home.
Amenities were great! Very thorough directions for the house and host was responsive. This was also a last moment reservation and host was accommodating and fair. Rooms were very spacious. If you’re lucky you’ll see animals right in the backyard!
We loved the great room with large windows and tall ceilings. All the bedrooms provided lots of space to spread out. Game room in garage was entertaining for the kids. We walked to the park / playground. Fire pit outside was great to end each night with.
The house is great. Comfortably accommodated our extended family. And Suncadia and the surrounding area are great for summer vacation. Would definitely stay again.
Perfect for a large group. The house was close to a park for all our littles. The room we all had to spread out was wonderful.

Beautiful home, well equipped with necessities, perfect location, game room a hit!!
Our first VRBO experience and it was fabulous. Home is great for large gatherings. Management is quick to respond and very helpful. We look forward to staying here again!!
Great house for 2-3 families to getaway and spend time together. The game room in the garage is great! Everything was exactly as advertised and the communication from the property manager was great too. Would definitely stay here again.
Our 4-generation family vacations together every year, and this was our favorite home that we’ve rented. Huge great room and open kitchen so we had plenty of room to gather, but bedrooms, bonus rooms, beautiful patio and garage game room provided lots of other places to hang out. Kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and appliances. Loved the decor too!
The appliances were amazing! The steps overall feedback prior to the stay were easy to follow. The owners were very accommodating and respectful. Loved their home! No complaints.
Our family stayed in this gorgeous, comfortable house for a weekend of togetherness and fun. We were 10 adults and 5 kids, and there was something for everyone! The game room was a hit, the fire pit jprovided perfect ambiance for evening gatherings (we loved watching the deer eating grass just off of the patio), and the kids loved the nearby playground.
Of the houses we've rented in the past ten years for family fun, this one was voted the very best.
This is the third time we’ve stayed at this home which is perfect for multiple family gatherings. Property manager responds quickly and goes out of her way to ensure everything is perfect. House is always sparkling clean. Our teenagers love the different options in the game room. We thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and comfortable seating provided. We will be back again without hesitation!!

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
The game room in the garage was the highlight of the stay for our group! The home is in a great location in Suncadia and the size was also great for our group. We had a great stay but are not giving a 5 star review for several reasons: First, some things were missing such as toilet plunger and extra garbage bags. We communicated with the property manager via email and text message about these things and they reimbursed us for the cost of having to go to Safeway in Cle Elum to purchase them. Making this extra trip to Safeway in the snow and the communication about it was an inconvenience but we appreciated the reimbursement afterwards. Other things seemed out of place by the housecleaners such as bathroom rugs were missing in some bathrooms but were all found in master bathroom. There were also extra towels but they were also all in the master bathroom which seemed strange. We also found it strange that there were notes asking us to not use certain pillows with shams on them. If we were not supposed to use them, why were they provided? The kitchen range and some outlets in bedrooms also had some strange things that could have been better explained by the host. The range made clicking noises when cabinet doors were opened. The oven took a long time to heat up. And finally, three of the twin beds that were advertised as provided, were not actually beds but instead mattresses to place on the floor. If that was fully explained in the home description, we missed it.
