Ich habe Anfang Mai eine Woche im Adasu Hotel auf der Insel Marmara verbracht – und es war rundum eine wunderschöne Erfahrung. Das Hotel liegt etwa 2,5 Stunden von Istanbul entfernt und ist der perfekte Ort, um dem Lärm und Stress der Stadt zu entkommen.

"Hotel Mola is a sweet, small family run hotel with a private beach and nice views over the water on the west side of Marmara. Why we liked it:
(1) Comfortable rooms. While not lavish, rooms have comfortable beds, decent storage space, and excellent air conditioning. Ours were also very clean.
(2) Great location. Easy walk into town for meals, shopping, etc. Even better: private beach with loungers and umbrellas. Beach is sandy and water relatively shallow. You can’t reserve loungers, so...
"There are not at lot of English speaking visitors on Marmara Island and therefore the hotel staff doesn’t speak a word English. This is however not really a reason not to stay in this hotel. The price is okay, location is good and the internet is too good (it’s even working on the street, 50 meters away from the hotel). From the balcony there is a nice view on the main street. "

Die Klimaanlage war ein altes Model, hat mit Isolierband gehalten, aber top funktioniert, war leise hat gut gekühlt.
Die Dame an der Rezeption war höflich aufmerksam und nett. Nur der Herr war das gegenteil, hat nicht einmal grüßen können.

"Our visit can only be described as comical. We booked a room with a kitchen, never saw one. Apparently our booking had been taken when they were full. There were language barriers which contributed to our issues ok but we ended up in a room that was not fit for purpose. Internet was spasmodic, the shower was broken, we only managed one hot shower each across 3 days. The bathroom door was broken meaning it could not be closed. There was a lot of banging early each morning.
