"This hotel is hard to review because it’s in a beautiful location, the room was very nice, the balcony was sensational, and the breakfast was delicious but… There was no reception desk to check in, we checked in at the restaurant with the waiter. The waiter showed us to our room, which was a double room when I had paid for a quad. The guy said he had to call his manager and check with him. I had booked this room online and had paid for it. After being shown three different smaller rooms, we finally got a room with two queen beds. The room was nice, spacious, and had an absolutely beautiful beachfront view. The breakfast in the morning was really wonderful. We had a tray of cheeses and meats with fresh bread and honey, jelly, butter. Nutella, etc. We also had a choice of what type of coffee we wanted and orange juice. In addition to all that we were able to have a made to order omelette or any types of eggs. We also had croissants and a plate of fruit. After breakfast, we went out to explore split and were gone the whole day. Upon arriving back at the hotel we discovered our room had not been cleaned. There was no phone in the room to even call and inform anyone about this. We told the waiter at the restaurant the next morning that our room had not been made up and he said that the housekeeper had called in sick and he was sorry. I really like the Billa Mario a lot but the management is quite lacking."

"Very modern and immaculately clean apartments on a beautiful beach! Everything you could want and more was available, from cookware to paddle boards. These rooms are by far the best value I could find in the area, and the hosts were also very kind and greeted me immediately on arrival with a drink. I hope to come back soon!"

"Mgr or owner did not speak English (even though adverstised at Eng speaking), only German, and was incredibly rude. The AC in my room was not working and I could not find her (owner) anywhere. I had to call expedia mulitple times to get in touch with her. She ignored me 3x re: AC, instead showing me how to operate it on the one in the 'lobby'. I tried to tell her each time that it wasn't working. She would then disappear again. FINALLY, after expedia spoke to her, she came up to my room to fix the AC. It WAS NOT WORKING - a hidden breaker was switched off - no way for me to figure that out on my own. She didn't apologize or even offer a bottle of water as I was dripping with sweat. She closed the bar/rest early, so I couldn't even purchase anything. I had to walk down the beach to get a cold drink. Room was TINY, which I didn't mind bc it was just me and was for one night (airline rebooked me). Couldn't even open my suitcase in the room. DO NOT STAY HERE! 3 stars, my ass. 0 stars would be more accurate. "

"Good flat with free parking. Good location close to the main street by car 2 minutes walking 10 minutes. Little bit up in the hill going down will be easy going up little bit need energy if you don't have car or old people with you. Close to the beach and super markets. Not far from split around 10-30 minutes depend on the traffic. The flat have everything you need. Close to Avere tour agency where you can have all tours from Podstrana highly recommend to try the quad and blue cave tours. One more bonus all beaches are free in the area even 5 stars hotels you can go for free just pay for the parking and seat if needed. Conlemani resturant was great near by in Le Maredian hotel good to have pizza was super good. The beacg was good also there. The beaches are all rock beach no sand beach so better to have good slipper or swimming shoes. Highly recommend the flat was very good for the family of 5 persons. I think it can accommodate 6-7 persons."
