Staff were respectful and helpful at all times. Breakfasts were excellent as were the bar meals and drinks. Lovely view from bedroom over the grounds and river. Plenty of parking and well situated in the town with excellent variety of shops."

"No lift was a problem but the duty staff were really helpful taking our bags up and down stairs. Bed was comfy, view from room 1 was outstanding. "Staff were great, the room was lovely and clean and comfortable. Very quiet. No road noise. The breakfast (£10) was very good - recommend that if you’re staying here. Very small town wirh not a lot to do or see here, but we were only passing through and just needs a place to sleep for the night. This was perfect for that. Only downside was that the night we stayed, they had no staff available to open their in-house restaurant, and the other pub in town was also closed for meals so we ended up with Chinese takeaways in our room for dinner…"
