We managed to do lots of day trips during our weeks stay. Host was great, communicated with us before during and after our stay, advised us on places to visit and made us feel v welcome, there was even a bottle of wine waiting on arrival which was a lovely touch . We had an issue with an outdoor wasps nest whilst we were there and she dealt with it quickly and efficiently . Cottage was well stocked with everything we needed and more, from cleaning products to herbs, spices etc in cupboards. Would definitely return and would highly recommend to others. The location is great for exploring the Cotswolds. Unfortunately there was a very annoying ongoing issue with the hot water. We arrived to find a note from a plumber that explained a process we needed to follow in order to get hot water but it didn’t always work and we needed to reset the boiler numerous times. I did complain to the owner as I thought we should have been informed of this in advance. She disagreed with me and didn’t seem to think that it was a problem at all. Not really what you expect for £200+ per night. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back…..but not until the hot water problem was resolved! ##### Sarah W.
