Blue Moon | Central Chincoteague Retreat w/ 2 Screened Porches, King Suite & Pet Friendly Stay

  • Come and enjoy a nice, relaxing vacation at this charming island home. "Blue Moon" is centrally located on Chincoteague Island - it's not too far from downtown, a public boat launch, nature trails, and one of the island's most-loved fresh seafood shops! Downstairs features the living room/dining area combo, a lovely kitchen, full bathroom and 2 screened porches. On the second level you'll find 3 bedrooms and another full bathroom. The third level is the master bedroom suite with a King bed and full bathroom. If you enjoy the more traditional-style homes, "Blue Moon" might be the one for you!

    - Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
    - No smoking is permitted on the premises.
    - This property is pet friendly. An additional fee of $150 per pet will apply. Maximum number of pets allowed: 3. Cats will be considered on a case by case basis. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
    - Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.

This home was a great place for my group of 8 adults to stay during the Pony Penning Week. It was close enough to walk to most of the town within 30-45 minutes and only 0.1 mile ( 5-10 minute) walk to the closest trolley stop!The home was clean and had plenty of seating for my group. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms and kitchen areas were clean and easy to use. We had a full-size dishwasher, stacked washer and dryer, 3 full baths & 4 bedrooms.Only downside, the front yard had sand burrs (weeds with small stickers) making it difficult for our dogs.
Stayed 6 nights in Jul 2026
