The hotel is within walking distance to the bus station and also a local beach with very few tourists and small market areas, though it is around 6km away from the more lively Uppaveli beach. Hotels in Sri Lanka routinely provide/arrange accommodation for drivers (either for a price or sometimes for free). "This is the best hotel in Trincomalee. The staff are the loveliest, kindest staff, and they made our time there feel like home. The food is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan food as well as European/US, but they even made us egg hoppers on request.... Its that we're not on the menu. So I cannot praise them highly enough.
