Easy to find and about 30 minutes to Crater Lake. The house sits with three other tiny houses close by, but there was only one other unit occupied while we were there. It’s very scenic with cattle in the pasture and mountains in the background. We sat out on the deck and enjoyed coffee in the mornings and cold beverages in the evenings. Sep 16, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Living on a cattle ranch We stayed 2 nights and used this cabin as our home base for visiting Crater Lake which was approximately 30 minutes away depending on where at the Lake you plan to go. It was perfect for the two of us. Watching the steer in the field was a different kind of experience. The host left us a pound of ground beef in the freezer that we gladly enjoyed after a long day of hiking. Didn't love how hot the place was all the time and how uncomfortable the beds were. The place was clean but the power went out the last night around 7 and we were told it would come back on around 10 30pm but we left at 8 30 am the next day and the power still was not on. This was not the hosts fault but we read in one of the guest books that this happened before. No warning of it happening and no backup generator are what made me mad. Drove the whole way home with no phone, no shower, no sleep and no food in my belly. Next time I will no better but perhaps its just an Oregon thing. ##### Kohner W.
