Cottage for two close to the beach

  • Within easy walking distance of Wittering Beach Cullimore is a sweet one bedroom annexe perfect for a holiday away for two. Cullimore has plenty of parking so you can pull up before heading to the poplar local beach or East Wittering village where you will find an abundance of shops, local restaurants and cafes.



    The Annexe has a cosy living area with dining for four and a good sized kitchen with everything you will need to effectively self cater during your stay. The kitchen has a kettle, cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and washing machine. Tucked away you will also find an iron and ironing board.



    The bedroom has one double bed, if you are bringing an infant the living area is directly next to the lounge with room for a cot to be put up there. A small shower room is situated only a few feet away from the double room.



    A small courtyard garden can be found at the rear of the property, hidden neatly away in the guest shed you will find a set of table and chairs for outdoor dining when relaxing in Wittering's sunny summer time!



    West Wittering is famous for its stunningly beautiful landscape and Blue Flag sandy beach, which attracts visitors from all over the UK and beyond. It is a favourite destination for wind surfers, but equally families love to "get away from it all" by visiting the lovely child friendly sand dunes. The beach has excellent facilities, including a cafe and ample parking and there is plenty of space for barbecues etc. The village itself has some useful shops and public houses, with more extensive facilities in the nearby village of East Wittering.



    The beautiful cathedral city of Chichester lies to the north and is famous for its Roman connections, as well the Festival Theatre, which attracts some of the world's top actors. It is dominated by the cathedral and its shopping centre has preserved its heritage and character. There is a huge amount to do in the area, from water sports to sight seeing, golf course, tourist attractions, to horse racing and motor sports at Goodwood.

Perfect for the beach

You recieve a very warm welcome on arrival at the cottage. You quickly discover the convienient position of the cottage to the beach where you can swim or walk your dog. There are a number of interesting places to visit nearby, for example RSPB Pagham & Medmerry, East Head (National Trust). There are also a variety.of cafes a short walk away.

Great location and lovely host

I couldn’t fault my stay. Debbie was very welcoming and helpful with anything I needed. The annexe was comfortable and spacious and just what I needed for a quiet week away. Wifi was superb and the kitchen was extremely well equipped ! It was especially nice that it was dog friendly, within a very short walk of the lovely beach. Shops within minutes if you need to stock up but at the same time down a quiet cul de sac . A little courtyard at the back with a table and chairs and parking to the front on the driveway .

Lovely holiday cottage

We have stayed at this little cottage several times as it’s just perfect for a couple, close to the beach and the village. It has everything you could possibly need provided and has a very relaxing feeling. The owner is so kind, helpful and accommodating we just feel like we are at home. I highly recommend it and will be booking again soon.

It’s small but perfectly formed with everything you need and it’s really comfortable and has a relaxing feel about it and the owners are just lovely super friendly and helpful we will be going back again that’s for sure it’s close to shops, restaurants and the beach too what more could you want? Ideal spot

We were made very welcome at the property which is ideally situated for the beach and shops at East Wittering. We were able to park the car and forget about it. We also enjoyed sitting out in the small patio area when we returned from our walks. The property is very clean and extremely well equipped.

Good apartment, lovely hosts

Clean, comfortable apartment with all the amenities you could wish for. Great location, less than 5 mins walk to the sea or village centre. Fabulous hosts; Debbie and 'Mum' were very welcoming and accommodating; they even provided nice touches like fresh tomatoes from the greenhouse. Lovely stay, many thanks!

Eine sehr herzliche Begrüssung in einer komplett ausgestatteten und saubere n Wohnung. Bis zum Kiesstrand sind es nur wenige Minuten Fussweg und das Orrszentrum mit Eeinkaufsmöglichkeiten ist gleich um's Eck. . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und auch sehr die Ruhe genossen. Können wir jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Another lovely stay at Cullimore

This was our second stay at Cullimore where the owners are kind and welcoming and very dog friendly. Everything is provided to ensure a comfortable stay at this lovely bungalow. The bungalow is near to shops, cafes, restaurant and the beach. We had another enjoyable holiday here and hope to return again.

A lovely homely stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Cullimore. We were greeted warmly and there was a welcome pack for us and for Tia our dog. The property was very dog friendly and everything and more was provided for us. Near to shops, cafe's and the beach made it an ideal location to stay.

Comfy stay in great location

This is a comfortable clean annexe with all mod cons on a very quiet retirement estate. 3 mins from beach and within easy reach of Chichester Petworth and beautiful places like Bosham and the wonderful estuary walks and bird life.

Very nice stay in this cottage. close to the sea and the center village. A warm welcome from Debbie and the family. We really had a nice time, and our two little dogs as well.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend and book again

We had a great stay in this lovely annexe. Debbie was a lovely host who was around if needed but also left us to our own devices.The location is excellent for the shops and bars as well as the beach. We would definitely recommend and really hope to come back again soon.

Worth every penny

Debbie and her parents are so welcoming from the start they go out of there way to help you and for you to enjoy your stay, this is the second year we have rented this property. The property is very clean and tidy throughout. Its home from home with everything you would need. The location is fantastic only a few minutes walk from the local shops and East Wittering beach. We will be looking to book again for next year, great value for money. I would recommend this property to anyone. Keep up the good work!!

Wonderful Christmas holiday

We came to stay for Christmas. We had a warm welcome and came in to find the place had been decorated beautifully for Christmas with a tree with gifts for each of us the table decorated too and a food hamper aswell. We came to stay in the summer and loved it so much came back and had the same fabulous experience we will be back again for sure.

A lovely little place

The accommodation provides all the things you need, very close to the beach and only 10mins stroll to the sandy West Wittering beach. It is very close to the shops and restaurants (all dog friendly) but tucked away in a private and quiet area. We took our dog with us and felt very welcome (he even got a doggie holiday pack full of treats). The location is great for exploring: Hayling Island, Bognor Regis, Selsey. Really happy!

I would recommend this venue it has everything you could need and a homely comfortable feel and very short walk to the beach. Very dog friendly your dog receives a welcome pack on arrival. We will be going back again as had a relaxed and enjoyable time

Excellent Accomondation

All round value for money, the location was great only 2 minutes from beach and shops very easy to find. Debbie, Mum & Dad were very welcoming, even with our dog Max . Everything was supplied, from towels, to washing machine, ironing board etc.. home from home! They even gave us a doggy bag full of biscuits for our dog and supplied us with biscuits too! We would highly recommend this to others and would book again in the future.
