And there’s a pub close by too, great for soaking up the sun in the pub garden, or enjoying dinner out. East Wittering village is a short drive away, which has plenty of shops, including fish mongers, butchers and green grocers. You'll also find cafes, pubs and restaurants and surf shops. You can walk to the village in 25 mins or drive in less than 5 minutes. Here are some other places you might want to explore during your stay: More beaches at East Wittering, Selsey and Bracklesham Bay. The biggest local city—Chichester—with its many shops, stores, coffee shops, and entertainment venues including a cinema and theatre. The majestic cathedral is also well worth a visit. Sporting events: There are two horse racing courses that can be easily reached from the house—Fontwell and Goodwood, with the latter also playing host to the annual Festival of Speed and Revival in September. Getting Around: With parking for up to four cars at the house, driving here is a good option. There are local bus services that connect you regularly with East Wittering and Chichester. Or you can always hire local cabs to get you where you need to go.
