The location is excellent just a few minutes drive to the airport and a few minutes walk to Wat Phra Singh , Wat Chedi Luang and other attractions and restaurants in the Old City area. There is also a 7Eleven store and a family run Thai massage parlor near the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We did have a couple of meals at the Canal restaurant which was good and not too expensive. The hotel is quite old and for our bad luck the rod holding the hand shower came loose and fell on my son's toe. The staff quickly helped out with a first aid kit, but our plan for the day was cut short since my son could not walk freely.
