A piece of Cheyenne history renovated into the 21st century! Commissioned by Union Pacific, the Central Plaza was intended for railway workers who got off the train at the depot and would walk down the street as they laid over. Nearly invisible for many years, the Central Plaza was acquired in 2020 by local entrepreneurs—rebranding it The Downtowner with one goal in mind: offering our guests a comfortable, affordable and all around exceptional accommodation.
