Everything was great except even if you request a non smoking room/floor it still smells of smoke. I understand it’s a casino hotel so I did overlook this for the most part.

FairBridge Inn Express Merrillville
Had trouble connecting to Wi-Fi. Notified attendant at the front desk, she gladly reset the router and all was well. I have no complaints. This was reasonably priced for a no frills motel.

Breakfast was served until 10:30. We arrived to eat just after 9, and the food was sparce. A lot of people here wirh kids, so I'm guessing they didn't plan. No one came to restock food. I asked about something and was told they were out. Another family came down to eat and had to ask about waffle ...

Spring House Inn
Seems like this was a 5 star destination hotel about 40 years ago. Still nice, but dated. Quiet. Could use a little more TLC, but has a lot of great character.
