The porch is directly across from a reclaimed wood craftsman. Which was one of our reasons for staying here sadly it was closed during our stay. However, it was a great stay as there were really nice views from the window of the mountain, and even a little creek across the street. And much to our delight a working railroad But it only ran once. This place has it all to slow down, enjoy remember days when life was simpler. Very clean, a bit funky layout but it is in an old house so that’s expected. No dishwasher, but double sink and plenty of hot water. Well supplied with “oops I forgot” items. Hosts are very pleasant.
