What a BEAUTIFUL place to just relax and unwind! The cabin itself is amazing and where it's located is even more so. All you can hear if you're outside is the mountain stream across from the driveway making that porch a little slice of heaven for sure. Just an all around amazing stay!
We enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet that accompanied this beautiful cabin. The cabin was extremely clean. I could’ve stayed on the front porch swing for days reading my book and listening to the creek! We will most definitely be back! I highly recommend!
Very beautiful setting. Four wheel drive vehicle highly recommended The host was responsive and helpful. The beds were comfortable, although the stairs to the loft queen is rather steep. The corners were dirty and dusty. There was a glass on the bathroom sink that had toothpaste residue on the bottom. Since we were charged a substantial cleaning fee, and house rules require we clean dirty dishes and tidy up, the least they could do is make sure the place was clean when we walked in the door.
This is a beautiful property this was our 3rd time staying at this cabin and every time we go we enjoy it more and more and discover new things and the host is great.
If you are looking for peace and quietness this is the place to go to relieve stress and enjoy the nature.
The was a great oasis in the mountains. The cabin is much cuter in person than in pictures and sits in a more lovely in the woods. The road is steep and a little rough to get up there, but it was manageable. We spent hours sitting on the porch listen to the stream and enjoying the view. We will definitely be back.
Everything was amazing . Spent the first night in the cabin. The other 2 days we visited capes cove beautiful experience seen so many Bears and their babies .. Also we visited the Smokey Mountains seen so many Elks at the Cataloochee Valley Elk watching .. Thank you for the opportunity for letting us stay at your awesome cabin .. Pretty sure we will be back .. Thanks again ..
Best vacation we've had in years! The cabin was secluded, without being in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what I was looking for. Cabin was larger than expected. Very well stocked. Not that far from the national Park, where we spent every day. Really enjoyed the porch swing, and used the bbq grill every day. It was very quiet, only heard the creek outside. My teenager didn't want to come but there would've been plenty of room for him, and the other 2 young adult kids. Can't wait to come back in the fall sometime and make use of the wood burning fireplace. Thank you for sharing your cabin!

Quite rustic getaway
The cabin was clean, bedroom was in loft had to climb very steep and narrow stairs to get to it. Could not stand up had to crawl on hands and knees to get into bed. Slept downstairs on pullout couch bed. Road to cabin graveled with sharp turns. Culvert at bottom of roar needs to have a marker. Got my vehicle in it cost $150.00 to have wrecker pull it out. Cabin was clean but dimly lighted.
This place is incredible! Absolutely beautiful cabin nestled deep in the woods. A small creek out front allows you to hear running water all day and all night. Porch swing on the front porch accompanied by rocking chairs made that area my personal fav. Very remote, so if you’re one to get bored easily I suggest bringing some dvds along. Kitchen is stocked to the gills. Honestly the only thing you need to bring is yourself. People will mention the driveway, I’ll just say if you have a large truck you will not be making it. EXTREMELY tight turns, having said that most cars will make this with no issues. All in all, the best place I’ve ever stayed for a price that doesn’t break the bank. BTW, Lauren is fantastic about giving details and making this process quick and painless. Thumbs up all around; we will be visiting again soon!!!
This rustic cabin was the perfect getaway for us. The drive up is not for the faint of heart, but if you are ok driving off-road this cabin is a great deal.
Great place to stay. The house is located convenient to the surrounding areas, Bryson City, Cherokee, Nantahala but still very private and quiet. Great host that waa eaay to communicate and work with. Thanks!
Cabin is an excellent base for hiking in the Park. Has all the necessities for an enjoyable stay, and the property manager was very helpful and attentive.
