Amanda and Paul are lovely people, we felt very welcome and they helped with everything we needed. The house is absolutely lovely and very clean. Had everything we needed and did lots of cooking. The location is very good, easy access to Wells, Bath, Bristol and Weston Super-mare, which we enjoyed very much with the nice weather. The house is a 10 minute walk from a large reservoir that’s lovely to walk around in the evening and has lots of sheep! Our first holiday was brilliant and we’d definitely book again. She loves the place as much as I do now and to stay in such a beautiful and cosy lodge during our few nights away made it even better. Walking distance from both the centre and cheddar gorge, and only a 3 minute drive to the local shop, the location was fantastic! All this coupled with hosts who met us on arrival and let us know we could contact them if we had any problems made us feel very relaxed. Having spoken to Amanda a couple of times we knew exactly where to go and how to get the keys so that was very helpful. The location was great for walking into cheddar or to the reservoir and a good base to visit the surrounding areas.
