I almost never write negative reviews but this time I must. Where to begin? The main issue was the cleanliness of our room. We pulled out the sofa bed and it had a mattress cover stained with urine and god knows what else. The furniture had sticky spots on the top of the desk and dresser and had obviously not been wiped down. The staff was surly and seemed to view guests as an inconvenience. The breakfast was limited and greasy. Only greasy omelets the first day. No scrambled eggs or sausage. On the plus side, the property and rooms are lovely. Great location, too.

Good location and free on-site parking were pluses. The main negative was water pressure in the room....did not check the shower but the most we could get from the sink faucet was a very weak trickle.

Everything was great and hotel was super convenient to visit UVA and the town and restaurants. All within walking distance. And Amtrak is nearby also can walk to. I would stay again.
