Great vibe; nice intersection of old warm charm and contemporary chic. My room was handsomely decorated and spotless. Nice hotel staff too. Location provides central access to Charlotte's burgeoning restaurant and night club scene.

"Nice Hotel on the edge of the city "
My daughter and I stayed there recently for a competitive cheer competition being held in Charlotte. We couldn't have been more pleased. We ended having a large corner suite that I don't remember booking but it is possible that I did. There were wonderful views from our 16th floor room. The room was well appointed and to my surprise had a full kitchen. everything was very clean and the room smelled wonderful. Im not sure what they are using to scent the room but they need to bottle it and sell it. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and the food was excellent and not overly priced. I will say while we were there is was especially loud in the dining area with lots of young guests running around but that was not the hotels mistake in any way. There is room service available and I am sure to use that the next time we stay there. The hotel is located close to the bus station, tram station and trolley service. Valet parking is available.

We were there for the bowl game seemed the staff was initially unprepared for the number of guests that were arriving. Room was very nice. Breakfast was just normal hotel breakfast, I expected a little more for the price of the room. Entrance is tricky to find it is on the back of the building.

"Nice, simple hotel"
Clean rooms, nice staff, comfortable bed, overall well decorated, especially in the lobby and breakfast areas. Our room had a window seat which was fun, with a view of the pool (although it would've been nicer if it wasn't January haha)! Don't expect a resort, but this is a perfect hotel if you're looking for a nice place to spend the night while visiting Charlotte. Microtels in other cities have lived up to the same standards as well!

"Good hotel for price. "
Hotel is outdated as far as sink and tub fixtures. Headboard really dusty. Overall hotel did its purpose and wasn't bad at all especially for the price

"Convenient Location, Good Value"
The hotel was near to restaurants and a short drive from shopping and Charlotte points of interest. It was also very quiet and, although a bit run down, quite clean. Would stay again.

"Relaxing"
My wife an I enjoyed our stay. The only complaint I really have is that the front desk staff weren't the friendliest. They weren't "rude" just not very personable. Other than that, very nice and enjoyable stay here.
