The street has lots of street lights and a big construction going on next door for some nice condos and we felt safe here, but certainly lock your cars! This part of Charlotte is still rough especially on the main streets. Would highly recommend the food truck at the gas station on the main street (Tyrol) near the house. On paper, it had what we needed (kind of), though it was equipped with the bare minimum. Though it had a kitchen, there were no utensils to cook with. They had supplied coffee pods, but they were all decaf (maybe this is whiny, but it is a hassle to find coffee first thing in the morning when you are in a time crunch). There were no extra blankets, and those provided were super thin. Finally, when we arrived, the shower curtain and rod were sitting in one of the bedrooms. We had to put it back, and it fell off twice. It seems the assembly was in the bedroom because it was broken. I would not choose to rebook this space based on this experience. ##### Christopher V.
