The Space: From vaulted ceilings to intricate tile work, every detail of this recently renovated house invites you to relax, breathe deep, and revel in the pleasure of living. The BohoPad is the perfect space to spend weekends escaping the city with friends or family. With 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, three beds, and a modern kitchen and dining area, the space is practically begging you to bring your family or friends and make yourselves a dream vacation. Much more than a simple house, the BohoPad is a beautiful mix of creativity and hospitality, making it ideal for both business travelers and those traveling for pleasure. It fuses the unique South Charlotte architecture with contemporary designs. From the full cedar panel bedroom with vaulted ceilings, Middle Eastern-inspired bathrooms, and the fully equipped kitchen, the BohoPad’s beautiful design and relaxing atmosphere create the perfect getaway to enjoy the peaceful solitude of contemporary country living. Colorful and creative accents and an eclectic collection of handpicked bohemian-style furnishings and decor connect you with the history of the home. The large windows surrounding the house allow the landscape to follow you inside. Each of the cabin’s windows is located to make the most of the view – and you certainly can’t escape from them - nor would you want to, day or night. But what makes this cabin truly unique is the character of the interior. Its lived-in, personal touches make it very appealing, and the splashes of vibrant color and abundant natural light give the cabin an airy, bright, and unpretentious feel. My sister cooked a couple of dinners and the kitchen served our needs just fine (except there was an issue with the dishwasher.). Weather was pleasant and we spent most of our time on the porch. The inside family room was comfortable too. As were the bedrooms. Host was quick to respond and very nice to communicate with. If you're looking for a Marriott, this isn't for you, but it does have all the appliances and amenities you'll ever need, along with two bedrooms, two full baths, comfortable living room with a big TV, and a fully furnished kitchen. It is a hidden gem for sure! The pictures don’t do it justice. When you pull into the driveway it’s like you are entering your own personal secret garden. Check in instructions were perfect. The cleanliness and comfort were exceptional but one of my favorite parts was the sweet aroma in the back yard wafting through the air from the beautiful plant life. The birds were singing loudly and bees were buzzing as they went from flower to flower. It almost felt as if we had entered a secret magical fairy land. It rained during our first night there and the sound of the rain on the tin roof was soothing almost seeming as if a sweet melody was being played to lull us to sleep. The kids loved the pull out to watch Netflix on. The upgrades are beautiful and the home gives you a different atmosphere, you don’t even realize your in North Carolina. My husband and I loved the master bathroom; from the tile to the romantic feel as if we were on our own vacation. We will be rebooking even if we don’t have the children next time. We came to a family wedding so the revisiting is a high possibility. The house seems so tiny and you walk it and it’s completelt open giving it so much space to spread out. Laundry available WiFi Available. Anything and everything you could need besides food for an extended stay. Just head to Walmart 5 miles down the road and your set. We loved this property! It is truly a hidden gem. There were 3 of us and living areas gave plenty of space to share. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen appeared to have everything one would need for a stay. What we loved most, though, was the outdoor space. We did some fun photo ops with the truck and enjoyed looking at the butterfly/bee garden. Our host was very responsive - even when I had dumb questions! We were in town for a tournament and the location was perfect. It was close to lots of restaurants and the SportPlex. The house was clean and had lots of great features that really made it stand out. The only issue we had was with the traffic noise out front which was pretty constant (on a busy road). However, it was expected as it was so close to everything. The owner was quick to respond, although no issues arose during our stay.
