The Inn is set in a lovely area and we were blessed with good weather. Drinks on the terrace as the sun set was delightful. The room was small but clean and well equipped. Good for a night but a I would think a bit claustrophobic for an extended stay. (Complementary pantry for the rooms with ice creams, teas/coffees, water etc. was most welcome). It was a little warm at night for our stay but the Dyson fan helped a bit. Food was good but not exceptional (lacking in seasoning) and the monkfish portion rather small for the price. Service was consistently good and friendly. For a non local was in the middle of nowhere which is best in daylight for finding! Beautiful rooms, was nosey and peered through other room windows for future. Sadly missed breakfast so check when defo doing it, but there was a great farm cafe a mile down the road which was great. Really beautiful bedroom and amazing upholstered bed. The location is basically the middle of no where so very quiet and peaceful. It is only 5 mins out of town but you need transport to get there. Only had breakfast but the food was local if not their own and was great. The old stables was beautiful accommodation attached to the pub.
