I booked this hotel based on the good reviews it received. Maybe my standards are too high, but this is probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The room smelled of sewage…all the time. The bed was so hard. There was no give in the mattress at all. One of the pillows on the bed was also very hard. There was nothing to put your soaps and shampoos on in the shower. The drain in the shower and the sink drained very slow and the bathroom did not have a vent fan in it. The whole room was damp and stagnate…no ventilation to help move the air or any option at all to adjust your room temp. We were in Peru for nine days. This part of it, staying at this hotel, was prob the worst. On a small bright note, it was in a good location being across the street from the San Pedro Market and the train station.
