Beautiful hotel in a quiet, scenic part of the city. The number 9 tram takes you from the Hague central directly to a stop across from the hotel. Hop on that tram again and get to the beach in about 10 minutes. There's a nice grocery store about a 15 minute walk along the canal and through an authentic Dutch residential area.
A couple of points: to get on/off public transit requires scanning your bank or credit card. Had I known this in advance, I might have brought a card for transit use only. Also, there's major construction occurring immediately out the back of the hotel. If you're sightseeing during the day, this isn't an issue. BUT, if you're hoping to relax in your room during the day, this might be an issue.

Great location, may get a bit noisey from the street. Amazing staff. Rooms are smaller than advertised and it may be hard to bring big luggage upstairs.

The hotel was as nice and clean and the staff were good but the breakfast was nowhere near the £20 euros I paid for it. On the first morning I couldn’t get to the restaurant because of maintenance going on near reception which meant I had to go around the hotel via some diversion notices all in Dutch ...

Great hotel, super comfy beds, cleaned every day. Just felt a little pushed out due to being English whilst trying to get a drink at the bar, the locals like to push in and you get ignored. Apart from that, would definitely recommend and will go again. Thank you.
