    The Space:

    This cottage has a prime Seaside location and is the perfect place for your family or friends to gather and enjoy time together at the Oregon Coast. This home features a large kitchen with granite countertops and a spacious living room to spread out and relax in. There are sliding doors that lead to a private back deck that overlooks a serene wetlands area, making it the perfect spot to sit each morning with a cup of coffee and observe visiting wildlife or enjoy an evening BBQ together.

    This home is an ideal location for exploring all that Seaside has to offer! Walk just three short blocks over to the beach, or head north to Broadway Street and explore its restaurants, souvenir shops, and fun activities. Everything was great and met our needs wonderfully if I gave specifics it would take forever but I will say they had lots of puzzles and games, a foosball table idk how to spell it rn sorry, anyways it was great there were nice areas around etc. All the shops you could need no matter what one of my issues is there not being certain shops available and they had them all within walking distance

It's got a nice walk to the ocean, and is very close to some shops and restaurants. We also had quick journey over to Portland and back when we wanted.

The property is located in a quiet neighborhood. However the home had had a bad smell especially in the bedroom. Also the exhaust fan in the bathroom and the furnace return air vent in the hallway are filthy and need cleaning!

Nice, Convenient Home

This home is very conveniently located to all the attractions in downtown, such as the carousel mall and the aquarium. The bedrooms are both nicely sized and we were able to easily fit our pack and play in the smaller room for our toddler. The back porch has a wonderful view and is quiet and peaceful for hanging out.

The house was clean. My favorite room was the family room. It was very comfy. We had planned on spending time outside, but the deck furniture was rusty and not as clean or comfortable as I would have liked. The yard was perfect for our dog. The walk to the beach and town was very doable.

Quiet and comfortable

Loved the location, close to everything. Well suited for traveling with pets, or kids needing a fenced area to run around in. Plenty of towels and linens. Beds were comfortable for most of us in our family but they are on the firm side. Kitchen was well equipped. Front door was tricky to lock. The house was clean on our arrival. Did not use the sofa bed. A few odds and ends could use attention but overall I feel that for our budget it met our needs.

Check out time was too early

The place was great. Nice and quiet with a nice view of the river. The only thing we didn't like was the 10:00 check out time. That was ridiculous. 11:00 which is standard is tough enough. Maybe rethink that time.

Finally, one where you get better than expected

Pictures are usually taken to make the space to look much bigger than it is. This house was at least as roomy as the pictures, and very clean. The deck is very large and his sheep fencing under the railings so pets can't fall through. The deck also leads to a fenced yard for pets to take care of business. This was a huge bonus! I could leave the slider open 6" and let my dog go in and out as he pleased. The kitchen amentities were very adequate, and the furnace kept the house toasty. If we return to the region we will definitely rent this house again instead of gambling with any other, even if the beach we want to go to (Canon Beach) is some distance, it would be worth the drive!
