Celebrity Cruises are known for their innovative ship designs and immersive cruise experiences. For 11 consecutive years, they've won Travel Weekly's Readers' Choice Award for Best Premium Cruise Line. This comes as no surprise, as the cruise line offers itineraries to over 300 destinations, and has an approximate 2:1 guest-to-staff ratio, meaning that impeccable service is guaranteed. With each new ship class, Celebrity pushes the boundaries in cruise technology. They were the first in the industry to use gas turbine engines, which reduced exhaust emissions by up to 95 percent compared to traditional systems and use solar panels onboard.
The 13-ship-and-counting fleet contains 4 different ship series', each offering guests unique cruising experiences. The Millennium Series (comprising of ships including Millennium, Infinity, Summit, and Constellation) is made for food-lovers, with a Michelin-starred chef overseeing all of the distinctive dining options like Sushi on Five, Tuscan Grille, and Qsine.
Solstice Series ships (including the Solstice, Equinox, Eclipse, Silhouette, and Reflection) are for guests who enjoy the finer things onboard. They feature The Lawn Club, which is an outdoor, country club-like venue, as well as the Alcoves, which are cabanas that overlook the amazing views of the seas.
The Celebrity Galapagos series (the Celebrity Xpedition, Xploration, and Flora), are luxury mega-yachts offering exotic itineraries to the Galapagos Islands, with expert naturalists and fishermen on board.
Lastly, the Edge series (comprised of the Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Apex) is the latest in the fleet, and pushes cruise technology even further, from a Magic Carpet to private plunge pools.
