The second I walked into my room, I saw a huge cockroach in the bathroom. The room did not look as clean or modern as it does in the pictures, and the furniture was very cheap with a tiny bed and uncomfortable mattress. The hotel is down a very dodgy looking alleyway, with a group of men who sit outside all night/early morning shouting and staring at you. I felt very uncomfortable in the area and so didn't leave my room once I had arrived. The only positive about this place was the staff who were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The guard went to fetch a taxi from the main road for me in the morning so I didn't have to walk down the street on my own. I have a feeling they are aware that the area the hotel is situated in is not ideal. Good: Very clean, nice staff, close to IT Park, relatively quiet, and efficient room. Could be better: The wifi was horrible 90% of the time. If you have online work to do, you will not have a strong enough connection to do it here. Although very close to IT Park, the walk there is a bit chaotic as you will be walking in the street with jeepneys, cars, and buses rushing past you.
