"Lovely property inside the city walls but away from the high traffic tourist areas. Well equipped with everything you need. Easy check in. We had a lovely visit in Volterra."
"Our villa was very clean, equipped with important necessities; we were in the ground level villa so we were able to have a car park outside our villa. We were not able to get breakfast but they amazing offers for breakfast and can deliver to your villa. The reception is different property which is about 8-10 min drive not so convenient but the staff are very helpful and very accommodating. "Great place, close to some really neat towns and things to see. Awesome to have big nice pool to come back to after a hot day of sightseeing. The best thing about it is the family that owns it. So warm and friendly and helpful in every. Truly enjoyable stay."
"I made a horrible mistake and booked thr wrong dates because i had a hole in my macular and could not see well. After my surgery and recovery which was around 1 month I realized the horrible mistake. They refused to give credit and charged room fees as well as over $600 in taxes for a room that was not occupied by me."
"What a wonderful place to stay in Tuscany the views alone form this B&B is amazing. The husband and wife are wonderful providing an excellent breakfast and overall stay. Buy the olive oil made on property!!!"

"Il Castagnolo was the perfect quick Tuscan stay for our family. The accommodations are pleasant and comfortable. The pool is cold and overlooks the beautiful countryside, and it’s a very quick ride into San Gimignano town as well as surrounding Tuscan vineyards."
