The lodge main room windows overlook quite a view and are fantastic to see--looks like a chapel with wood beams. We had a fabulous time, went to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We stayed at the General Butler Resort Hotel in a cabin. It is beautiful, too bad the pool was under construction, but had things to do. Our cabin had a sunken bedroom which was weird that you had to step down into the room and felt like you were going to fall. Hopefully all the cabins are not like that. Breakfasts are included and where fabulous!!! I had to arrive really late and the girl at the desk was great. I was a little bit spooked when I first got to my cottage because the TV wouldn’t turn off, and the bathroom had something brown and streaky on the tile, there were some bugs, but this is expected in a camping cabin. The bed was clean the sheets were clean no bugs in the bed! I would definitely stay there again, but I might take some cleaning supplies with me.
