Dalys Inn
The staff was great the rooms were cozy and the town is adorable. We traveled with 6 kids and 2 adults split into two rooms. Pretty quiet in general, it is above a pub on a Saturday night, so there was partying but the rooms were mostly soundproof and we slept very well. Even the toddler.

The Coach house of Durhamstown Castle
Our hosts, Sue and Dave met us as soon as we arrived. They were amazing, Dave brought wood and lit a cosy fire, Sue brought coffee and a pot of tea. What a welcome! The barn was beautifully decorated exactly as pictured . We were a family of 5 ( 2 adults and 3 grown teenagers 16,17 and 19 ) so the house next door would be our preferred stay moving forward.
