"This was a very nice spot right by the river. The tent and bedding were clean and insect-free, though also had a strong but not unpleasant floral detergent scent. The shower had hot water (though give it plenty of time to warm up) and the bathroom was clean. We were the only guests at the time which was either good or a bit spooky. "The hotel and surrounding area was like its own suburban location with a city feel. Lots of dining, shopping and entertainment options. Safe and walkable. The room was clean and spacious. The toiletries were high quality. Staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful. Gym facilities are clean and spacious. Entertainment and activities by the pool were chill and suffice. Small lagoon at the Oceanside (non adults only) was the perfect opportunity to feel like you’re taking a dip in the ocean but without the heavy waves or current. Flamingo island was easily accessible and a quick trip by boat. Plenty of space and beach chairs, etc. palapas. Place to eat, drink and shop. Kayaks. Etc. highly recommend this resort for the Caribbean feel without the hustle and bustle of the nightlife and the crowds downtown. "
