Excellent House and Location

Absolutely loved this house-listing was accurate and location was great! The pool/spa and patio were beautiful and we got lots of use out of it. We will definitely book again if in the area and it’s available!

Nice house but….

Nice house and back yard area on the canal with screened in pool and tiki bar. However, the property manager was not very responsive. Informed her of master bath outlets not working and no one was sent to fix it. Also, tv is not a smart tv, so could not watch Netflix. Pool guy came and put chemicals in the pool but no note was left to let us know not to go in the pool for an hour. Thankfully, we were home and asked him before he left.

Perfect weather, Perfect Place to Stay

The house was amazing. Kids did not want to leave the pool and the views from the deck were amazing. They had everything we needed to help with traveling with young kids. Would love to come back to same place in future.

Lovely retreat

The house was really amazing. We had everything we needed. They had fishing poles, kayaks, and all the other amenities that you can think of the pool was lovely. The hot tub was great. The only thing that I would change would be I would put more safety features outside like step up step down, reflective tape around the deck

Luxury canal house

Our family of three had a fantastic vacation in this beautiful home. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing. The location is very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores. I would recommend for anyone to enjoy a vacation at this home and I can’t wait to go back there.

Beautiful house

We loved everything about that property. Well equipped with everything one might need. Great communication with Silvi whenever needed. Quiet neighborhood, huge deck, heated pool and whirlpool. Highly recommended!

Relaxing Stay

Beautiful relaxing outdoor area especially the oversize deck. House was nice, but 1 bed seemed more like a full size instead of a queen size bed. They do provide a binder with information a must read because it states the air conditioner must be set between 73 to 79 degrees which was not state in Vrbo description as you could be charged for electricity.

Had 5 women in the house for a week, it was well equipped and the dock and pool were an absolute favourite! Sylvia was a lovely hostess, always promptly responded to all calls and emails. It was a fabulous week

Good value and feels like a home, not a basic rental

This is a very nice villa, with interesting items inside and out, you can see the owners care about the property, and have made it like a home and not a basic rental. Nice area, Good location for shops. Good size pool for Florida, Large Lania which got used a lot as the temperature was in the 90's for the whole 3 weeks. and a good price, so would recommend it

Great view

The outside area was awesome! Very spacious and well equipped with chairs lounges and tables! Pool and spa worked the whole time we were there. Very very easy to control temperature. View was fantastic. Outside area was even better than the pictures on VRBO website. It was great to be close to walking trails. Excellent location! Close to just about everything! Both the property contact (Silvi) and the property owner were very responsive to our inquiries. Overall a very enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it!!

Six weeks in Cape Coral

We had an enjoyable stay and hope to return. The property was well equipped and clean. The outside grill was poor and was promptly replaced. The property does need some attention. Furniture inside and out, although functional, is old, worn and needs to be replaced and upgraded. Ceiling fans need some attention. In summary, a good property.

A good base for exploring this part of Florida

A lovely property, pool and deck area. We found the property had everything we needed. The AC was much appreciated! Great bedrooms, and bathrooms, good water pressure, plenty of towels etc… If there was any minor criticism it would be that temperature of the pool was too warm when we arrived, but it cooled after the first visit by the pool guy. The pool area was great, although we would have appreciated cushions for the loungers. The low seats need new cushions - very uncomfortable!! Great location, a perfect place to explore this part of Florida. If we return to the areawe would certainly want to come to Villa Riviera!!

Loved the outdoor seating

The house was beautiful. Clean. Comfortable. Outdoor deck was a plus. Enjoyed sitting outside at night under the tiki umbrella. The only minus to the rental was the owner did not provide hand soap or laundry detergent. I was surprised this was not included as it normally is with rentals. But I would absolutely rent again. Location was close to stores and restaurants and was quiet and peaceful at night. Great rental.

Beautiful Home

This house is beautiful! Our favorite part was the patio and deck, they are just like the pictures show. By far it is the nicest area of the entire home. Three rooms were very comfortable for everyone and the fact that there's also 3 bathrooms was awesome. The house itselft is very well clean and equipped and it has everything you need nearby. We would definetely want to stay here again. The only thing that caught us off guard, since we did not see it mentioned anywhere when we booked the house, is that they charge you extra for the electricity you use while in the home. Overall, our communication with both the owner and the manager were quickly and good. They were very accomodating to us since we travelled with a small baby.

Frustrating

The house was beautiful. However the inside was furnished very cheaply. Bad beds, bad pillows and the microwave didn't work from day 1. We couldn't use the pool the first 2 days. The out side furniture cushings were non existence. I must say from the pictures it was a big disappointment.

Beach Getaway with Friends

Overall, we loved our stay. The split bedroom plan was ideal for the two families, one with two children, and the other with none. The patio/pool deck was an oasis, with plenty of seating for all. The boat dock and patio with the tiki table was a great place to spend the mornings while sipping on a favorite beverage and watching the fish jump in the canal. The set up of the home was nice, in that the kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, dishware, drinkware, and the like. The laundry was WONDERFUL, as it allowed us to wash our clothes before repacking for our departure. Finally, the beaxh chairs, floats, etc. came in handy for either the pool or beach. I would add the house does need a good deep cleaning, as there were some rough spots here and there (stains on the living room carpeting, cracked/broken tile, and baseboards that needed to be wiped down and painted. Two phone calls to the number provided in the house’s notebook produced only one answered call. This call was made when we decided to use the gas grill and found the propane tank empty. Seemed the owner did not want to keep the temperature up on the pool and hot tub. Heat pump was not on when we arrived.. I have pics of the settings, but never got to them. I believe she did not want to upgrade to a newer pump that would have fixed the problem. Pool kicked in the last 2 days. Spa could not be used at all! Filing claim for misrepresentation when I get home. Sad though, the home was a nice size and alright for its age. Owner seemed agitated that I called her on it everyday. Its a big part of vacationing. Pool and spa = RELAXATION.

Pool deck is not family friendly

Our first thought was the neighborhood is nice and the location is good. There were bicycles and a crib for my 2 year old which was family friendly. It was clean and well stocked with dishes and towels, no complaints there. The patio in the back, surrounding the pool and hot tub however, is a safety hazard and concern that we wish to stress to other families with children. The patio is concrete as is most, but it has been painted with a gloss white paint, which makes it extremely slick. We have stayed at many properties with pools and thankfully our children are familiar around the water. Our whole family was outside on the pool patio and our 2 year old slipped and slid into the hot tub and both my husband and I injured ourselves trying to rescue her. Every single person in our family slipped and fell, including my mother and father in law who live in Florida. There is no being cautious, just walking we had slips. According to the pool maintenance woman, she has fallen several times on patio trying to service the pool. We just want everyone to be aware, especially those with children or elderly, that a serious hazard exists.

"Perfect pool and deck with beautiful wide canal view

Sasha, from the management company, and owner answered questions in a reasonable amount of time. We had 5 adults and 1 child for our stay for our mothers celebration of life service. We had another 4 additional people come to visit during the day. Plenty of room for group visits or alone time. Not that this took away from our stay... carpet very worn, bedding and towels in the guest bedroom(s) have seen their better days. There is a tub of pool items in garage but most were broke so we would recommend mgmt company go through and throw out and replace or not between renters. Badmitton (tennis?) rackets had strings all broke so couldn't use. We wish the jets would have stayed on longer in the hot tub. When they shut off... 10 minutes?... couldn't start back up for quite awhile. When area around pool gets wet, very slippery so be careful. Make sure wasp nests are removed from under tiki hut. Mgmt company did come spray, which helped. Great to offer bikes and kayaks! We would have like it if kayaks were out by ladder to canal... very heavy. Toilet room door in master bath is a pocket door and didn't close ... due to being off track. Mgmt said it couldn't be fixed during our stay. Mattresses, especially in guest rooms, weren't comfy but we know everyone has varied preference for that. Very small issue... kitchen didn't have measuring spoons. Great access to shopping, Eco Preserve was a short walk and fun to see, as well as other area attractions. With all that was mentioned, we would go back! Like I mentioned earlier, just want owner to be aware of what we noticed needed some attention. Many thanks!!
