Stayed 1 night at a weekend when attending a friends party nearby. Big room with en-suite. Had to go into the bar to check in, although busy someone attended to us straightaway and was very helpful. The milk for the tea/coffee was out of date, I'm sure they would have changed it for us if we had needed it. But there was noise coming through the floor from the pub below til around 11 when the pub emptied and there was only a door between my room and the room next door and i suffered very noisy neighbours. Loud conversation til the small hours and then plenty of slamming doors throughout the night made for very little sleep. The room itself was comfy enough and the facilities were clean too. Free parking was also nice. The owners and staff were kind, polite and welcoming. They made a big fuss of our dog and they looked after us in the evening. The hotel room was clean and tidy; nothing extravagant but that is not the reason we stayed. Thank you to you and your staff for making us feel welcome. It is conveniently located in the town centre, with ample on site parking. There are 3 rooms, one of which is en-suite. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Pub was nice, very busy on the Saturday night as there was a private function being held in the back room. All of the staff were very nice, friendly and helpful, especially Harry, who worked extremely hard all night. There is free Wi-Fi in the pub, but I struggled to get any signal in the room, which was the only downside to my stay. Not a place to stay for a good night's sleep. The rooms are only separated by a locked door. They had given the key to this door to other guests who drunkenly walked into my room at 2am. Because it's just a door separating the rooms, all sound travels through. The selfish guests next door were extremely noisy all night, blasting music and TV until 6am. No chance of getting any sleep. The pub itself also had very loud music until around 23:00 which you should consider if you're going to stay here. The shared shower only had freezing cold water. I won't be staying again.
