Old building but really neat and historical looking. We got a single room, which had a double bed and a small couch. The bathroom is small. No way two people could get ready at one time. It has a really cool bar/restaurant which is super convenient; however, the World Cup was going on, so the bar was packed and SO LOUD! We were on the first floor, right above the bar, and you could hear everything. They also had live music (one guy with a guitar), which was also pretty loud. Thankfully, both things got over relatively early. Speaking of loud, the window fan is very noisy, and we only had it set on 2 out of 10. Overall, I would recommend it for the location and the on-site bar/restaurant, which also has a great patio. It has on-site parking, which was great. I really loved the way the building is set up with the bar/restaurant/patio. I might request a room on a higher floor, just because of the noise.

Cups missing, no decaf tea or coffee, 2d key not programmed. Instructions regarding driving to 6th level of parking lot were confusing. Parking lot is dingy, dirty, poorly lit. I accidentally parked on 3 to find shopping mall entrance instead of hotel on 6. Different banks of elevators -- main lobby staffed, mezzanine understaffed.

The hotel suited our needs, however, it is not walkable to downtown St. John's if that's important to anyone. The room was a little tight for 5 of us, but it was clean and comfortable.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. The staff were over the top friendly, the room was beautiful. Like that this hotel is sustainable with the larger containers instead of the sample size product. Good selection of hot and cold food at the included breakfast buffet. Close to the ferry if need be for your travels

Good facility with great staff but unfortunately our motorcycle hard cover luggage bag was riffled at night and a number of items were stolen. There are homeless encampments in the area . I believe that the hotel needs more active security as our bike was parked on their top lot near their entrance. The desk staff were very helpful reviewing the lot video for the police report. We were given a discount on our stay very kind of the hotel, as they were truly concerned about this incident.
