    Welcome to this newly renovated two-bedroom apartment, offering the perfect blend of modern comfort and convenience. Located in a prime spot, it provides easy access to the City Centre, local amenities, and major road links like the M11 & A14.



    With ground floor entry and just 15 steps to the first floor, this apartment is both accessible and homely. Inside, you'll find an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area ideal for relaxing or entertaining. The two double bedrooms provide plenty of space to unwind, while the family bathroom, complete with a bath/shower, ensures comfort for everyone.



    For those driving, you’ll appreciate the added bonus of an OFF-ROAD PARKING SPACE for one vehicle, as well as an ELECTRIC VEHICLE charging point, making it easy to stay charged up and ready to go.



    Whether you're here for business, leisure, or a bit of both, this charming apartment offers the perfect base to explore everything the area has to offer.



    The Space:

    This spacious and bright first-floor apartment has been recently renovated to a high standard. It features a private entrance on the ground floor, leading into a large hallway with ample space for your suitcases, shoes, and coats. A staircase takes you to the bright first-floor landing.



    • On the right, you'll find the family bathroom, which includes a bath/shower, a large storage unit, sink, and WC. A cupboard houses the washing machine, iron, and ironing board for your convenience.



    • To the left are two generously sized double bedrooms, both offering plenty of storage. The larger room has a king-size bed, while the second room features a double bed.



    • On the right side, the open-plan living area includes a dining space and kitchen. The living room features a smart TV (please note that access to streaming services requires your own subscription and login) and two double sofas, while the extendable dining table comfortably seats up to 4 guests.



    • The fully equipped kitchen boasts integrated appliances, including a separate fridge and freezer, oven, electric hob, and slimline dishwasher. Additionally, you'll find a Nespresso Dolce Gusto coffee machine, with a selection of coffee pods provided for your enjoyment.



    • Heating is adjustable via a portable thermostat, allowing you to set the temperature to your preference.

    The Neighborhood:

    Canterbury Street is set in a quiet location off Huntingdon Road, about 0.75 miles to the north of the market square, 0.5 miles from Magdalene Bridge and within the Castle and Victoria Road conservation area. It is well located for the excellent local facilities on Histon Road. The property is also close to New Hall and Fitzwilliam College. The City centre, many colleges and facilities offered by the university are within walking or cycling distance. Plenty of restaurants and pubs on Castle Street. Magdalene Bridge and the Quayside with all their restaurants, shops and bars by the river Cam are only about 15 minutes walking distance.



    Getting Around:

    The property is close to the City centre (approx. 10/15 minutes walking distance) so we recommend walking around or if you want to feel like a true 'Cantabrigian', hire a bicycle.



    The nearest bust stop for Bus 6 to the city centre is on Huntingdon Road near the corner with Westfield Road, opposite Fitzwilliam College (approx. 5 minutes walking distance from the property).



    Cambridge railway station is about 1.75 miles with regular services to both Liverpool Street (68 minutes) and Kings Cross (48 minutes) mainline stations. Addenbrooke’s Hospital/Biomedical Campus is about 3.2 miles away. The M11 can easily be accessed at Madingley Road (Junction 13) about 2 miles.

    Once your booking is confirmed, rest assured that our price rates include fresh linen, soft towels, and the final cleaning fee. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an extra charge. You’ll have the entire property to yourselves throughout your stay. Enjoy the convenience of self check-in and settle into a professionally cleaned, well-maintained space complete with fluffy pillows, crisp bed linen, and all the essentials for a comfortable and relaxing visit.     PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO REVIEW THE HOUSE RULES PRIOR TO BOOKING. We have a strict policy against parties or events of any kind on the premises. The lead guest must complete the online check-in form, agree to our Terms & Conditions, and upload at least 1 ID before check-in. Forms must be filled at least 24 hours prior to the check in date. We operate a self-check-in system and cannot meet our guests to check their IDs and verify guests in person. Failure to do so may result in the reservation being cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.



    SAFETY & SECURITY: Please make sure you close and lock all the windows and doors when you are not on the property. If the property is found left unsecured (windows or doors open/unlocked) during your stay and/or at check-out, we retain the right to charge a penalty fee. A fee will also apply if the keys are misplaced during your stay or not returned to the lockbox at check-out. Thank you, we really appreciate your co-operation!



    A £350 security deposit hold will be placed on your card two days before check-out and released after your stay, provided no issues are identified. Funds typically return within 3–5 working days, depending on your bank. This does not apply to Airbnb bookings. For stays of 10 nights or longer, an interim housekeeping service or linen change must be arranged during your stay. Failure to do so may result in additional charges at check-out. Please do not wash our linens or towels, as they require professional laundering. Charges may apply for unauthorised washing, excessive soiling, or replacement of damaged items. Additional charges may also apply if the property is left in an unreasonable condition at check-out, such as excessive rubbish being left behind or dishes and cookware not being cleared away or loaded into the dishwasher.

We had a great stay thank you. Right from the start, everything worked well. The arrival instructions were easy to follow, and we were fortunate to be allowed an earlier arrival, which was extremely helpful. When we arrived the house was lovely, warm and welcoming. The host was very communicative and responded to our messages in real time; there was no delay at all. The accommodation was a good size for three of us, and would easily suit four people. The bedrooms are a good size, with very comfortable beds, and all facilities throughout the accommodation were excellent. One of the best attributes of the accommodation was the large hallway. We were able to store our wet coats/shoes/boots there; they dried out in no time at all. One thing worth mentioning; there is a television, however if you do want to use it, you must remember your passwords for Netflix/iPlayer/ITVX etc as there is not an aerial provided for terrestrial television. We could not remember our passwords, so were unable to use the television. A small thing, it did not impact our stay but worth mentioning. Lastly, it is worth saying that the accommodation is situated a 20 minute walk away from Cambridge city centre. It is an easy walk, and to be fair, the Uber we got the first evening took around 10 minutes because of traffic... so walking was a preference for us at all times, even in the rain!Overall our stay was lovely; check out was seamless, and we would definitely revisit. Thank you

The flat was in a lovely location about a 15 minute very pleasant walk from the town centre. It had a lot going for it - the bedrooms are a good size and the beds comfortable. It is light and quiet. The kitchen area is well equipped and the bathroom newly refurbished. Everything was clean and the property, although up 15 stairs, was easy to access. It was also great to have a dedicated parking space.Things that could have been better for us - we found the living area very cramped and the seating uncomfortable. The hosts were solicitous in writing and asking after the first night if everything was OK but there was some confusion in their emails prior to this regarding our check in. We found it quite off putting to be threatened with fines if we did or didn't do certain things in the property. I think it would be perfectly possible to ask people to put the key back in the key safe and say they reserve the right to charge if it isn't, without quite so many threats. Also, it would be good to provide local information such as where the nearest shops and eating places are. Local facilities are in fact excellent but there could have been more information on arrival.
