With 3 bedrooms including 2 queen beds and 1 full bed, this cozy retreat offers all the comforts of home. Enjoy the convenience of amenities including a washer/dryer, WiFi, and fully equipped kitchen. One full bath with walk-in shower. Half bath on main floor. Location is outstanding- snowmobile trails 200 ft away, downtown Calumet/Calumet Theater is two blocks from the home. Local taverns and restaurants are within walking distance. Siskiwit Reception Hall and Conference Center is just down the street. Lake Superior is 4 miles from the home. The furnishings are all very nice and the kitchen is very well stocked. It was very clean upon arrival and the owner was very hospitable. Calumet is a great town to stay in because of its central location in the Keweenaw. The only (and I mean the only) drawback is that there is a little too much road noise if you leave the windows open. With the AC on in the front bed room you do not hear the road noise. It was a great location for 90% of what we wanted to do. The surrounding areas were quiet and great for morning walks. When we arrived I noticed that the main level wasn’t cleaned and that there was a major ant issue. I contacted the owner to let him know what we walked into. He apologized. I took care of the ant issue myself with bug killer and spent the next hour cleaning the main floor.
