I had a great experience at the Imperial Hotel! The hotel was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special thank you to Dima, who was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated the great service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend the Imperial Hotel!

The room was very clean and comfortable. Dima and the rest of the staff were very nice and quick to help with anything we needed. The building looks old from the outside but everything inside the hotel is super new and comfortable.

The hotel is in downtown Cairo, I believe. You enter through what looks like a street full of shops, then you’ll see a building with several small boutique hotels inside and that’s where this one is. Once inside, it’s quiet and very clean. The front desk staff were wonderful and extremely friendly! They do offer transportation to the airport for $15 one way! It’s definitely a busy area, but the hotel itself is peaceful.

This hotel is on the third floor of a building which is nicely renovated while the rest of the building needs renovation. The staff, especially Dima, was very helpful and arranged transportation and visits to the pyramids, old Cairo etc.

A bit messy with the airport shuttle transport and there were no electricity on the first night so we had to stay somewhere else. Other than that, once we got to the hotel, the rooms are spacious and the breakfast was good! Great location and staff were friendly!

We had just one night here, but couldn't have been happier. Our reception was welcoming even though we arrived earlier than check-in, and she arranged an early breakfast and taxi with no issue. The room was new, clean, and everything worked excellently. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building that faces a non-traffic street so no traffic noise at night. Walking distance to the Egyptian Museum. My nine-year old gives 'three thumbs up' (out of two). Thank you!

New hotel in Cairo

The hotel is a little bit difficult to find and on a noisy street at night, but everything in the room is new and the bed was really comfortable. Unfortunately there was a very strong smell if sewage coming up, which isn't ideal. The staff was very nice and they brought me early breakfast since I had to go to the airport before the official breakfast time,which I really appreciated!

We arrived late at night, and the driver that was supposed to have a sign at the exit of the airport hall didn't have a sign, and we couldn't find him. Finally after going back and forth on WhatsApp, we were connected and had our ride into town. We were met on the street side by the night clerk who carried all our bags and got us checked in and to our room. The whole hotel is on the third floor of a building in the middle of an open air market. The elevators are of questionable safety, but always worked for us. They were not clean by any means. However the hotel rooms are lots of marble and good facilities. There is no lack of hot water, and the bathroom was very good, although the shower leaked onto the floor. Our room was cleaned very nicely every day, and things were restocked. In Egypt you don't drink the tap water or use ice cubes. so they had started us with two bottles of water. We added much more during the week. It had a coffee machine and a teapot. We boiled water in the teapot and used that for brushing our teeth, letting the boiling process kill any little water travelers that might cause problems. The internet was slow at best, but at least it was there. Quite a number of drop-outs, but I suspect that was the internet provider rather than the hotel. The signal from the router was strong and consistent. My wife was suspicious of the neighborhood, but realized that she had expressed an interest in clothes shopping, and we were in the middle of market!

Hotel is one floor in an otherwise unremarkable building. It is on the third floor. Rooms are spacious and basic but nice. Staff is very friendly and went out of their way. It is in a pedestrian street so it is noisy into the evening. Have to walk to either end of the street to catch a ride. Convenient to downtown for walking.

This is probably one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. There is a lady that works there called Deema. She is probably the most hospitable person I’ve ever met. She gave us so many things to do whilst we were there and took such good care of us. Such an amazing person. She helped me and my friend with absolutely everything. May god bless her. Such a nice place aswell right in the heart of downtown Cairo.

DIMA IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND CAN ARRANGE AIRPORT TRANSFER AT A GREAT COST AND IS SO WILLING AND AVAILABLE TO HELP. THE HOTEL IS SO BEAUTIFUL IN A WONDERFUL AREA THAT IS VIBRATED WITH LOCAL CULTURE. LOTS OF SHOPS JUST OUTSIDE THE LITLLE STRIP WHERE THE HOTEL IS LOCATED I STAYED AT MULTIPLE HOTELS IN CAIRO AND GIZA AND I WILL BE RETURNING TO THE IMPERIAL HOTEL AFTER MY STAY IN LUXOR BEFORE RETURNING HOME🇨🇦. VERY AFFORDABLE FOR A SINGLE GAL AND SO SAFE‼️THANKS DIMA I FOUND MY HOME IN CAIRO AND YOUR HOSPITALITY AND WILLINGNESS TO HELP ME IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY IS SO APPRECIATED ❤️🦄🇨🇦 WILL BE BACK FOR SURE

Everyone was very courteous and kind during our stay. The in room breakfast was nice and always can very quickly. They offered a shuttle service from the airport. Shuttle is a loose word, it was just a guy in an old car. For the price, Uber is much more affordable. Upon arrival we had no towels, when we asked for some they came quickly but were still wet from the cleaning process. The sheets were also dirty and many hairs were found in the bed. The bathroom sink leaked so we had to manually turn it on at the wall to use it. The shower flooded every use, so we ended up standing in 3 inches of dirty water. The shower also only has enough hot water for 2 quick showers, our third person ended up with freezing cold showers daily.
