Service and communication was great. The AC issue is a nonissue to us - we understand those things. The feng shui was amazing. Check in simple. It would be cool to have a washer and dryer on site for guests. The room was very clean, but if I may be honest, a little dusty. I think the finer details need attention: like dust, floorboards, cracks and corners, shower leaks onto the floor. I would stay there again, without a doubt! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay pleasant and enjoyable with one exception- they did smoke a lot inside the hotel even though they tried to keep a window open to air the place out. It is part of one floor of a large 19th century building with a grand, central stair case and very high ceilings. The facade was redone in the 20th century in an Art Deco style. There are three main reasons for our enthusiastic endorsement. (1) The staff is friendly, helpful, and competent. (2) The room is large and comfortable. Our room was towards the street and thus there was some noise, which did not bother us. Очень чисто, владелец отеля говорит по-английски, предельно обходителен, организовал такси с табличкой для встречи в аэропорту до гостиницы (многие таксисты не говорят на английском и даже на UBER), посоветует и проконсультирует по любому вопросу, очень достоверно и поможет сэкономить). Здание очень интересное, в общих коридорах осталась старинная плитка, лифт в кованных решетках, внутри обшит лакированным деревом с элементами отделки из фацетного стекла, прямо - антиквариат! В отеле встретили с вкусным шейк-коктейлем, Дали номер - апгрейд - лучше забронированного комплиментом. Санузел выполнен интересным решением из стеклянных перегородок. Все понравилось.
