You can easily walk or drive to the dock. It will start with a full tank of fuel and need to be full when it is returned or we can fill it for you for $25 per quarter of a tank on the guage.\~ \~It's a 10 passenger boat. Basic, adult, orange, life jackets will be provided. Please bring children's life jackets.\~ \~No need to reserve in advance unless you want it during a time it's not included.\~ !\*!\*!\*!\*!\*! No need to ask if the boat is really included, if it falls into this description, it's included. !\*!\*!\*!\*! \~A $300 damage deposit will be held at the time of the boat use.\~ \~No cash value. Mother nature doesn't listen to me, if there is a lake wind advisory the boat will not go out. If there is a bad storm coming the boat will not go out, safety is my insurances first priority.\~ \~Contact me once you have arrived to set up a time to meet the following morning to sign the waiver and view the boat\~ Not everyone uses the pontoon so if you do not contact me once you have arrived I will assume you don't want the boat and I will go on with my day. Please call or text me the evening prior to you taking the boat out to set up a meeting time.\~ You will love this custom built home! We are located less than one mile from US highway 68/80...on a dead end street...making it a very quiet and relaxing location! As you can see in the pictures, this home features two bedrooms both with private baths. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed.. The upstairs loft will sleep 3 with a full and twin sized bed. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and is stocked with the basic necessitates to make your stay as relaxing as possible. There is a screened in back porch for your bug-free enjoyment. I live at the end of the street and you are always welcome to stroll down 3 houses and use the entire peninsula lot! This cottage is not allowed a dock on the main channel but you are welcome to use our dock, its just a 3 min walk down to our lot. The 55'' LED Samsung TV has a Roku for your enjoyment. Also, free Wifi for your convenience. On a chilly day, you can snuggle up on the leather couch and enjoy the gas log fireplace. Included in your stay is a 5 person pass to The Fitness Center at Lake Barkley State Park. The Fitness Center features; indoor pool, sauna, steam room, racquetball, free weights, Nautilus machines, outdoor basketball, outdoor tennis, daily aerobic classes, and much much more. This house will be most comfortable with 5 or less people. 8 guests is our maximum. No more than 2 pets are allowed. There is a $100 fee for each pet. Offsite- A 5 person pass to the Lake Barkley State Park fitness center is provided. Pool and hot tub are located at the finest center.  There is room for 2-3 cars in the driveway. There is plenty of room for over flow parking, just let me know and I’ll show you where it is.  ALL your linens are provided. I always recommend bringing your pillow for your comfort.  The kitchen has basic pots and pans and utensils for your general cooking needs. We recommend bringing your own cooking spices and any type of storage for your food you might need.  There is a full size fridge and freezer in the kitchen.  The neighborhood is located on a dead end street and is usually very quiet.  Our neighbors’ kids play in the street so please drive with caution.  The grill is propane and the propane is provided. Bring a lighter as ours tend to walk off.  The outdoor grill is not cleaned by the cleaning staff, please clean up after yourself. Also, please excuse the last guest for not listening to the first part of this statement.  The steps on the deck will lead you all the way to the shoreline.  The water is gently sloping and you can swim from the shore.  The bottom of the lake is rocky and semi-muddy. I recommend wearing lake shoes.  Yes, you can fish from the shoreline. KY fish and game laws apply, licenses are easily purchased online.  You can use any of the docks on the bayside at the end of the street.  Everyone is welcome to come to the end of the street and use my lot on the point. I do ask that you respect our privacy. \-With being on the lake there is always a chance of bugs, please understand we do everything we can to keep the outside of the house clean but sometimes it just is not possible. June, July, and August have what is called a Mayfly hatch occasionally, they do not bite and are good for fishing. • We have 6 pontoon boats available for rent. They are shared between all of our rental houses and I do recommend you reserve in advance, our rental website is enjoylakebarkley.com (click on boats). The boats are always docked at our docks. Once I have given you safety instructions you are allowed to use the boat from sunrise to sunset. NO night use. If you are out after dark I will assume you are missing and emergence personnel will be notified. If you are staying during the promotional period you can disregard the rental paragraph. • No penalty for boat rain outs. If you reserve we do ask that you plan on using the boat or it will be deducted from your deposit. No half day rentals. An additional $300 deposit will be held for the pontoon. Boats are seasonal may-september  I always recommend you bring your food with you. Our grocery stores are no comparison to the stores most are used to in the city. I am, almost, always available by phone or email. Our cell service isn’t always the best so please text or call back if I do not answer. $$$ All holidays require 4 day minimum stay.$$$ Again, I live at the end of the street so if you need anything while you are here, feel free to call, txt, or email anytime. Things like oils and spices in the kitchen, toiletries, and extra blankets would’ve helped. Some small issues on check in but the host was very responsive to email and things were corrected in a timely manner. The accommodation fulfilled all of our needs — and even some that we didn’t know we needed; I.e., relaxation and “water therapy”. My husband and daughter took advantage of the hiking and history provided nearby in the Homeplace 1850’s Working Farm at the Recreation area. We had loads of space! House and amenities were exactly as described in the listing. We usually only look at homes that allow dogs because our Border Collie loves the outdoors as much as we do, so we were very happy that this owner has homes that are all pet-friendly! Thanks! House was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed for a family of 4\. Loved the deck and especially the screened-in-porch off one bedroom to sit in the mornings and evenings and enjoy the panoramic view of Lake Barkley. The home was on a dead-end street and very quiet. We really loved that we were so close to 68 to get to LBL, Cadiz, and several State Resort Parks where we spent a lot of time enjoying the nearby sites, LOTS of hiking, shopping and good restaurants. Another huge perk was the owners' offer for a family pass to the Lake Barkley State Park Fitness Center where we used the heated pool, basketball court, etc., almost every day, especially because it was a cooler week and fishing/boating were unfortunately not part of our normal vacation activities. Although we didn't get a chance to use it, there is also a very nice fire pit/sitting area to use. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. We had an amazing vacation and would love to come back again soon! ##### Elisa F.
