Stayed here for 1 night while attending a funeral and at first look at the area I thought oh no! But it’s a great little place , clean , quiet, staff was great, rooms were clean and can’t beat the free breakfast. Overall excellent stay I would definitely consider it again if going to the area

Worst experience staying in Bakersfield!
Arrived at my room to find a small dead cockroach just inside the front door. Cleaned that up and didn’t think anything more of it. Woke up the next day to find a very large roach in the bathroom that was still alive. See picture.
After a couple of nights, I noticed that I was developing a few itchy spots around my body along my sides and on my legs. Realized it was bedbugs and I went to the front counter to let them know. They put me in a different room and told me to quarantine my clothes in some trash bags they provided. They also said they would have a professional come inspect and clean the room and I’d be contacted afterwards. Never heard back. Decided to throw the clothes away which made for a very expensive trip.
Pretty sad to see a nice hotel line offer such poor quality and customer service.
