DEICHSTERN Vacation Home – unique, cozy, and with a character all its own

The detached DEICHSTERN vacation home is a getaway for guests who aren’t looking for a highly stylized, high-gloss accommodation, but rather appreciate a house with personality, individuality, and a cozy, time-honored atmosphere.

With approximately 110 m² of living space spread over two floors, this five-bedroom vacation home offers plenty of room for up to ten people.
The house was renovated in 2024 and modernized in various areas.
However, a conscious decision was made not to replace its unique character with a completely modern or uniform interior.

If you’re expecting clean-lined design, minimalist decor, or the character of a modern new build, you probably won’t find the right vacation home at DEICHSTERN.
On the other hand, those who appreciate a personal, cozy, and tasteful interior—where not every piece of furniture has to come straight out of a current home decor magazine—will feel right at home here.

It is precisely this blend that gives the house its special charm: The DEICHSTERN doesn’t aim to be a “trendy vacation home,” but rather a place where you can arrive, spend time together, and feel right at home.

The cozy living area features a sofa nook and a wood-burning stove, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, especially on cooler days.
Books and games are also available and enhance the homey character of the house.

The separate kitchen is fully equipped and includes, among other things, an induction cooktop, an oven, and a dishwasher.
The adjacent dining table provides plenty of space for the group to enjoy meals together and spend convivial evenings.

Additional amenities include a washing machine, Wi-Fi with speeds starting at 25 Mbit/s, and a TV with satellite reception.

The house has two bathrooms with showers. There is also a bathtub.
Families with young children have also been taken into account: A high chair, a crib, and a children’s toilet seat are included.

A special bonus is the approximately 1,300 m² property. The spacious garden with a lawn offers plenty of room to relax and spend time together outdoors.
The amenities also include a garden shed, a barbecue area, and a patio with patio furniture, sun loungers, and a beach chair.

The quiet, rural setting with views of the countryside perfectly complements the character of the house and offers plenty of space to leave everyday life behind for a few days.

The ocean is only about 300 metres away, and the beach is about 1,200 metres away.
The surrounding area is perfect for biking, hiking, and fishing, as well as for various water sports such as surfing and windsurfing.
Restaurants and shopping are located about 500 metres away.

Three free private parking spaces are available right next to the vacation home.
We recommend renting a car for your trip and to explore the region with flexibility.

Up to two pets are welcome at the DEICHSTERN vacation home.
The house is not available for youth groups.

The vacation home is equipped for self-catering only.
Please bring your own bed linens and towels.
However, if needed, you can optionally book these as an add-on for an additional fee.

Utility costs (electricity, sewage/water, heating) are billed based on your personal usage (= metre readings) and deducted from the security deposit after departure.

You may optionally book a pet for an additional fee.
Please understand that we can only accept pets that are clean and well-behaved. Pets are not allowed on the couch or in the beds.
