This charming house, built in 1843, offers plenty of space for 3 people. It was renovated in 2025 using eco-friendly construction methods. It is located in a village of 20 houses with plenty of space between them. Therefore, noise from music and pets isn’t an issue. LOCATION: On the outskirts of town, on a residential street, just 5–7 km from the seaside resorts of Burhave, Tossens, and Eckwarden (photos). Energy costs included, even in the off-season!
You have direct access to a large, wind-protected, fenced-in terrace facing southwest.
The house was renovated as early as 1980 to be modern by the standards of the time. This is particularly evident in the open floor plan (kitchen, dining area, living room). Large kitchen with a convection oven and ceramic cooktop. During a renovation in 2025, new windows were installed on the south side. As a result, it’s brighter than is typical in older thatched-roof cottages.
The furnishings include many antiques; we think they complement the house well.
A charming garage is available for bicycles. Cycling trails 06 and 08 (ADFC-certified) run right nearby.
In addition to the great kitchen, smart TV, and piano, there’s an extensive collection of high-quality, complete board games.
Even with three guests, everyone has a 1.40-meter-wide bed in their own room. Therefore, the property can also accommodate more people, especially couples and families with children.
