"Not ideal for a good nights sleep. Party with loud music until the wee hours then people talking loudly until after 3am. However the room was comfortable and the restaurant served very nice food which improved the experience! Staff were helpful and friendly. "

"The hotel was excellent. From checking in , house keeping and breakfast. Only thing would be the member of staff on Friday morning. It was very busy between 9 and 10 and they were being asked to top up lots of things at the same time. Maybe thier humour but to say we stary serving breakfast at 6 every day insinuating that we could of came earlier wasnt nice to make people feel like they were an inconvenience. This is the only little negative oh and that there was no Nutella lol..definitely will be back and recommending to family and friends "

"A lovely modern clean room, a good size and lots of extras (fridge, iron board, iron, hairdryer etc). A lovely quayside view. Staff friendly and helpful in particular Claire who helped to re-arrange date of stay."

"Overall this hotel was probably our most disappointing stay on our 5-day tour of Scotland. Whilst the main building and surroundings looked really nice, it did not make up for the disappointment of having to stay in one of the lodges round the side/back. In our lodge, the floor creaked so badly and loudly that we resorted to not moving too much when in the room. If I had known about the 'motel' lodges then I would have booked elsewhere. The staff, on the whole, were professional enough but always seemed too busy and somewhat 'distant'. At no point did we feel 'welcome', not because the staff were unfriendly but rather mostly too busy to deal with us. The only saving grace was that the quality and standard of food was exceptional. As a foodie, I can honestly say that every element was exceptional. It's not a 'cheap' eat but the quality makes it worth every penny. Kudos goes to the kitchen and restaurant staff. Would I choose to stay again? NO. Would I choose to dine here? ABSOLUTELY."

"The staff ignored 21+ phone calls prior to check in and had the audacity to complain. The room had obviously been damaged by water, streaks of brown down the walls, ceiling tiles hanging down in the hallway. Bath spouted more water on the floor than inside the tube, with the lights flickering the whole time. Majority of the staff were rude or barely spoke English. Carpets in the leisure centre held together with tape. Basically a RUINED TRIP. I would NEVER advise anyone to stay in the hotel. There even charge Blue Badge Holders for parking.
