The staff was very friendly and overall accommodations were OK. The WiFi was iffy; best in the bar or late at night in the room. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral that went through a very nice park and esplanade along the river. I thought there would be better tapas or dining available in the hotel; plus very quiet as not a lot of people dropping in for a glass of wine as one would thing. Love the old stone on the building.
This is a wonderful, convenient (on the Camino and about 20 min walk to the city centre), personable family run hotel. The family are very hospitable and provide you with all the information you require, as well as feeding you if you so wish. The building, whilst old has a lot of character and the rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. There is plenty of parking in the area and other food options are in close walking distance. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Thank you
Very pleasant hotel that caters to student, senior, or pilgrim. Very well maintained but simply furnished. Everyone smiled and offered to help. Bargain price.
We had a 2-night stopover on the way from the south coast to Santander, giving us the opportunity to spend a day in Burgos. The staff at the hotel were really welcoming , knowledgeable, and friendly. There was ample (and free)"on-street" parking near the hotel - but during the working day this fills up quickly. It was a very pleasant 20-min walk into the centre of Burgos, and there is a bus-stop just outside the hotel. Burgos centre, and especially the cathedral, were well worth the visit.
