The bathroom has both a bath and a shower (independent of each other). Endowed with panoramic balcony (with a great view on Brunate and the valley), where it is possible to have breakfast. Bathroom with bath and dressing room with shower; bed sofa for 2 persons in the livingroom. It's possible to access the elevator without having to climb staircases before. Available a closed place to guard the bicycles. At 10 minutes from the town center and the shops, restaurants, pharmacy, bank, funicular. Ideal starting point for mountain walks, a visit to Como, a trip on the lake. Panoramic attic with elevator (located at the 5th floor). Free public parking adjacent to the building. Between October and May, the heating is available for an extra fee. Milan is at 40km. Nearest airports: Malpensa, Linate, Orio al Serio. The apartment is easily attainable and not too far from means of public transport: Brunate and Como are connected by the street (5 km) or by funicular (it works the whole year, with runs every 30 minutes or also more frequent, from 6:00am to 10:30pm, on Saturday from 6:00am to 12:00pm; during the summer period, prolongation of the service always up to the 12:00pm). For the bikers: it is possible to load bicycles on the funicular. To 400m from the station of the funicular of Como the terminal of the Trenord railway Como-Milan, which is connected also the train railway of Malpensa. The views are great (does not have a view of the lake - but doesn’t claim to, just an FYI). The host was very nice and informative. The parking was in a garage with an elevator, which was great. The place was clean with the exception of the refrigerator and freezer. The AC was a small unit in the living room, that did not do much for the bedroom. We were met on arrival and provide with lots of information about living in the apartment and touring the area.The apartment is perfect for staying outside the hustle and bustle of Como itself. We were very comfortable in the accommodation with an excellent bed and a well equipped kitchen. The balcony is large enough for sitting out and enjoying the wonderful Lake Como sunsets. The drive up to Brunate can be a little challenging but the rewards of the views and the village make it well worth the effort. We would not hesitate to recommend this accommodation.
