Nice, clean place with views of the Como Lake, an excellent breakfast and great service. We found a welcoming atmosphere in an old, charming small town that you can reach by car or riding an exciting funicular. Great experience!

Receptionist Chiarra was certainly busy as she covered most/all day to day things on her ownf from 8am to 7.45pm. Always cheerful, helpful and informative. 5 stars to bella Chiarra.

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would ! These reviews don’t lie , these people seem to hate their job, so rude and condescending, has you questioning why they would be in hospitality if they hate it this much ? Seriously do not bother with this place ! The electricity went out not once but twice on our first night here , we called the “emergency “ number and the cranky old man hung up on us ? And did not even bother to listen to us telling him the electricity had gone out, if we had gotten even a little later we would have stayed outside in the heat and they wouldn’t have even cared. They finally fixed it until an hour later.additionally at the beginning of our stay the lady said they did a cleaning policy of one day yes and one day no, we stayed 3 nights and never did they clean the room. Honestly so disappointing , never coming here again !

Lovely views but…….,

Fantastic views from hotel room and very convenient for the funicular. On downside the staff were rushed off their feet and my partner dubbed it the “do it yourself” hotel as our room wasn’t cleaned, we had to go to bar to collect coffee and cutlery at breakfast. The bottle of Prosecco we were given when we left would have been a lovely touch if we weren’t flying home with no checked luggage- it would have meant more on arrival!

Waren nur 1 Nacht. Sehr enge Strassen zum Hotel etwas abenteuerlich! Der Ort ist sehr touristisch aber schön. Das Hotel ist ok für 1 Nacht aber länger würde ich nicht dort bleiben.

Het hotel lag op een berg aan het comomeer. Maar voor daar te geraken moest je langst vele smalle straatjes en bochtjes waar eigenlijk maar 1 auto door kan dus je moet rijden op de spiegels die op sommige plaatsen hangen en op goed geluk. (Niet geschikt voor mensen met hart problemen) eenmaal boven geraakt moet je eerst gaan vragen waar de parking is terwijl je bijna nergens kan gaan staan. Dan tonen ze je de kleine parking een beetje terug dan het hotel waar je schuin bergop moet parkeren. De man van het hotel verstond een beetje Engels, de vrouw enkel Italiaans. We hadden bijna nergens verbinding of internet ook niet op de kamer of ergens anders in het hotel waardoor we bijna geen contact hadden met de buitenwereld. Er was geen airco op de kamer enkel 1 ventilator. De kamer en badkamer waren heel klein, het terras daarentegen heel groot. De lift mocht je enkel gebruiken voor de bagage naar boven of onder te doen. Voor de rest de smalle trappen en de nooduitgang. Het restaurant ervan was eigenlijk al gesloten toen we wilden gaan eten rond 19u ofzo maar ze lieten ons toch snel iets bestellen en eenmaal aan tafel gebracht sloten ze alles af en moesten we zelf afruimen en de poort sluiten voor we weg gingen. Het ontbijt werd door de man opgeschept en je kon kiezen uit een broodje en iets van beleg en een drankje en een koffie. De personen die er werkten waren wel vriendelijk maar dat was het dan ook. Hier komen we nooit meer terug.

Storslået udsigt

Fremragende beliggenhed med en fantastisk udsigt. Hotellet er dog vanskeligt tilgængeligt. Vejen derop er smal og masser af hårnålesving med kraftig stigning. Køkkenet var stort set lukket men de ville lave en pizza dog senest kl. 1900. Pænt værelse med en storslået udsigt over Comosøen.

Es war sauber, ruhig und günstig. Die Aussicht aus unserem Zimmer war schön: auf das gegenüber liegende Seeufer. Die Zufahrt zum Ort ist sehr kurvenreich und Parkplätze sind rar und schmal, das Hotelpersonal ist aber sehr hilfsbereit und es fand sich immer eine Lösung.

Nice hotel on top of the mountain, very convenient to get to Lake Como by taking the shuttle which is walking distance from the hotel.
