Because I was arriving on Christmas Eve and many shops would be closed the next two days, she offered to help me obtain a catered food order in advance of my arrival. It was excellent cuisine and lasted me most of my trip! She also arranged taxis to and from the airport, as well as for four mornings when I needed to get to another part of town for scuba diving. She also showed me the local beaches, bus stops and routes, and even took me out to some local limes and holiday celebrations.
