"We stayed for a last minute long weekend. We stayed with our 18 month old daughter for a long weekend. Was in the perfect location for commuting to woolacombe, Ilfracombe etc. Brilliant beaches nearby. We didn't bring out dog this time on our holiday but a very dog friendly lodge with a lovely garden. The garden for this lodge is very much an orchard with trees dotted around the lodge garden and natural foliage, all securely enclosed. The only thing to note with this lodge garden is that a child/ dog is not always in sight in this lodge garden so not ideal for some, but our toddler loved being chased around the trees, although we would have loved a flat open view garden so we could have sit and relaxed whilst she played but believe the other lodges may have this. A brilliant stay in a lovely location and have told all family/ friends about these lodges!"
Westbeach Holiday Apartments

"We stayed in the Westbeach apartments for 3 nights during the summer holidays. We had a 3 bed apartment for our family of 4, plus my father in law. The apartment was spacious and really comfortable. Beds were comfy and clean. Kitchen/lounge layout is always a win for us as we love open plan. The balcony from the living room and master bedroom was just lovely. Shower/bathroom was fab with lovely shower. Everything to a fairly high spec. We read the sad story behind the development of the apartments, but amazing that they managed to get them finished! The half finished building next to Westbeach is an absolute eyesore. One night we did see what looked like homeless people sleeping in there, but honestly it didn't bother us and it's no ones fault that it's been left in that state. It took us quite a while to find the apartment! But that's likely more on us and our navigation skills than anyone else's fault! We parked right by the apartment which was hassle free and fine for our tall campervan. We were right in the hustle and bustle of westward ho and it was lovely. Would use the apartments again- they were lovely, thank you :-)"

"A beautifully clean and welcoming hotel on the beach in Croyde. It’s safe, fantastic amenities and there is something for everyone. The staff are extremely polite, knowledgeable and friendly. It’s hard to find accommodation these days where there is nothing to fault - Outstanding! A perfect little get away."

"Just a really lovely cottage, beautifully decorated inside and stunning views of the estuary from the garden. Curlew Cottage is also in such a good location, with walks towards Northam one way and 5 minutes to Appledore along colourful Irsha Street the other.We parked in Torridge Road car park the first night, which made for easy unloading of luggage and the rest of the week in the main Churchfields car park where there was always a space.A lovely summer's stay...."
